If I don't need it, why don't I get rid of it

If I don't need it. . . . this can apply to so many things in my house/garage, but now I'm pondering getting rid of my cable. There is surprisingly little on TV, and I just DVR programs I can Netflix, so, why am I paying for it? Because I am to chicken to give it up. I'm going to revisit the question later. When I'm doing watching my DVR-ed programs and remind myself:

  • It costs more than it's worth
  • programs and ads are increasingly offensive
  • I should be exercising/cleaning/working/doing my calling(s).

I have similar thoughts about getting rid of cable... and you really hit the nail on the head. I'm chicken too.
